This was the original shot taken of the main character, using make-up to create the blood tears effect.
Once in Photoshop I made the image black and white but kept the blood in colour so it would stand out in comparison. It will also link in with the text once edited later.
This was the first draft of my movie poster. I am happy with the link of colours and the black background. The text is a general font on Photoshop and the colours were matched to the colour of the blood.
This is my final movie poster. I added a red tint to the whites of the characters eyes as i felt this showed more of a disease within him. The title of the movie was then embossed so it stood out with a 3D effect. I am happy with my movie poster as i feel it links and fits in well with my other products. I followed conventions when creating this poster and i do not feel like i've challenged any.
